Walk trails once common ground to the Mayan people of the hinterland settlements – once allied to the mighty Xunantunich. Explore small sites hidden by centuries of soil formation and reclaimed by vegetation that is only starting to let us have glimpses of what it has kept secret from us.

Things to bring: sunscreen, comfortable hiking shoes, small backpack to carry water & snack, ‘caps’/hats, and energy to hike at least 5 miles
